Design a microsite for Alex and Ani that focused on selling a single product category consisting of 75-100 products that targeted a specific persona.
An interactive e-commerce prototype that consolidates products based off of the stones they were made with. Visitors can easily view an entire stone collection and choose gifts to purchase by typing in a birth date. Using Axure, I built a functioning prototype that utilizes a drag-and-drop shopping cart while speeding up the checkout process.
The sitemaps and user flows were made with Axure, using data provided by various forms of user testing. The featured collections are based on the zodiac sign associated with a birthday populated by the user. Pre-defined collections are then shown to the user, before showing additional trending items at checkout.
The system illustrated via wireframes features unique pre-selected collections, an interactive product selection system and consolidated shipping and checkout pages. Interactions are based on these assumptions: 1. The persona already has an account. 2. The persona has already made purchases. 3. The persona’s credit card info is already saved. 4. The persona already know’s their friends birthdays.
